Scarlets claimed their second win of the season against a combative Treviso side in Italy.
Tommaso Allan's penalty was the only score of a first half when Scarlets failed to capitalise on Alberto de Marchi's yellow card.
After the break, Rhys Patchell and Allan exchanged penalties before Werner Kruger crossed for the opening try.
Further touchdowns by DTH van der Merwe and Steff Evans saw the Welsh region pull away and move into seventh place.
The result was Scarlets' second successive win after defeats in their first three games of the Pro12 season.
Wales tight-head Samson Lee made his first start of the season, but was replaced at half-time by Kruger, whose try calmed Scarlets nerves.
Wing Van der Merwe's score made the game safe before Evans pinched Treviso possession as the Italians looked for a losing bonus point, and he raced clear to score with the clock already in the red.
The win is a confidence booster ahead of next week's Welsh derby against Newport Gwent Dragons at Parc y Scarlets.
