Ospreys earned a bonus point victory over Blues at Cardiff Arms Park.
Scott Otten crossed following a line-out drive within two minutes and teenager Phil Jones added the extras.
The Blues hit back when Rhodri Davies, making his full Blues debut on permit from Llandovery, went over and Ben Jones converted.
Blues' Georgian prop Anton Peikrishvili was then sent off and Ospreys never looked back, with Brendon Leonard, Tom O'Flaherty (2) and Dan Evans crossing.
Flanker James Botham, grandson of England cricketing legend Ian Botham, made his debut as a second half replacement for the hosts.
