Huw Jones injured a foot as he created Sean Maitland's try against Argentina

Centre Huw Jones sustained a foot injury during Scotland's 19-16 win over Argentina on Saturday and will be reassessed by medical staff early in the week.

Jones suffered the injury as he created Sean Maitland's second-half try and underwent a scan post-match.

Three Scots also sustained dead legs in the autumn international victory.

Hooker Fraser Brown, lock Grant Gilchrist and centre Peter Horne will require medical management this week.

Scotland conclude their trio of autumn fixtures against Georgia at Kilmarnock's Rugby Park on Saturday.

Jones, 22, has been in sparking form this November, scoring twice as Scotland lost narrowly to Australia on 12 November.

The Stormers centre showed brilliant footwork, strength and handling to puncture the Pumas midfield and find Maitland for the Scots' only try on Saturday.

Scottish Rugby is eager to sign Jones for either Edinburgh or Glasgow Warriors, but his South African province are believed to be resistant to letting the player leave before his contract ends in October 2017.
