Sale Sharks ran in eight tries including a Byron McGuigan hat-trick as they thrashed Gloucester at the AJ Bell Stadium.
Denny Solomona put the hosts ahead with a superb chip-and-chase try before McGuigan extended that lead soon after.
McGuigan scored again just before the break with a stunning solo effort after running over 60 metres to cross.
Faf de Klerk ran in the bonus-point try before Solomona, James O'Connor, Sam James and McGuigan wrapped up victory.
Sale move up five places to fifth in the Premiership table, by virtue of their second win of the season.
The defeat was a third of the season for Gloucester, who were outplayed for much of the contest, with John Afoa's late try a consolation.
Gloucester's task was made harder after the break when England centre Billy Twelvetrees was sent to the bin and Sale utilised their advantage.
With a man up on their opponents, Sharks scored two tries in a five minute period through de Klerk and Solomona before McGuigan capped off his hat-trick late on.
Sale's victory was their biggest in the Premiership since beating Worcester in October 2004, while Gloucester have only once before conceded more points in a league match, their 58-21 loss at Northampton in 2002.
