Stade Francais scored with the last play of the game to snatch a last-gasp Challenge Cup win against London Irish.

Romain Martial opened the scoring for the away side, but a Scott Steele try ensured Irish led 10-5 at the break.

Irish were 17-5 up after a penalty try before Stade substitute forwards Giorgi Melikidze and Waisea Vuidravuwalu rumbled over to put them ahead.

Greig Tonks' penalty looked to have won it, but Tony Ensor crossed in the corner to condemn Irish to defeat.

Ensor's late try means Irish have now lost eight straight games in all competitions and sit third in Pool 4 with one win from four matches.

Stade are second, eight points behind leaders Edinburgh, who thrashed Krasny Yar 78-0 on Friday.
