Newcastle wing Alex Radwan scored a hat-trick of tries for the second week running as they beat Enisei-STM in Tbilisi in the European Challenge Cup.
The Falcons completed the group phase with a 100% record despite trailing 7-0 early on to their Russian opponents.
Newcastle hit back by running in four tries before the break, two of them by Radwan, as they secured a bonus point.
And he crossed in the left corner in the second half to complete his treble in between two Enisei touchdowns.
Falcons boss Dean Richards rang the changes after his side reached half-time 26-7 ahead, with Mark Wilson and Toby Flood also crossing.
Callum Chick saw action for the first time in two and a half months following a knee injury, but it looked like they might be unable to add to their tally, until Radwan chased a kick for his third try.
Enisei, though, had the final word with flanker Mikheil Gachechiladze awarded a late touchdown by the TMO after Anton Sychev had earlier gone over from close range.
The game was the first in a double-header at the Avchala Stadium, with London Irish taking on Krasny Yar later in the day.
Newcastle director of rugby Dean Richards told BBC Radio Newcastle:
"It was a long trip over here. The boys were tired, four hours time difference, it was always going to be different (to last weekend).
"I thought the boys acquitted themselves really well. We were a little bit slow starting, but at the end of the day, we got the result we wanted."
