Women's Six Nations: Scotland 15-17 Wales

Wales scored a converted try with the last play of the game to leave Scotland without a Women's Six Nations win.

Scotland had led through Jade Konkel seventh-minute try, but a penalty, then a try, by Bethan Lewis put the visitors ahead.

Sarah Bonner crossed from a line out to level and Chloe Rollie put the Scots ahead with five minutes left.

However, Lleucu George successfully converted Siwan Lillicrap's try to give Wales their first win of the campaign.

Scotland are left bottom of the table ahead of their final match of the campaign away to England next Saturday.

Scotland coach Shade Munro: "I'm hugely disappointed for them for the effort they put in. It is very cruel to lose the game in the last minute, but it's an 80-minute game.

"It comes down to playing the conditions. Did we play them well? We did in the first half. You could say we should have played more territory it the second, but Wales did make it difficult.

"There were elements of our game that were good, but it's trying to put it together in an 80-minute performance. It's the execution in certain aspects that we don't get right but we've got to learn from it."

Wales captain Carys Phillips told BBC Sport Wales: "It's the same every year with Scotland, a tight and close game. Coming out at 10-all, we knew we were against the wind and we had to keep our carries tight and work our way up the field.

"We conceded the try but behind the posts, we had full belief in ourselves to come back with six minutes to go and win it, and we did.

"When we scored, I looked at the board and it was on 80 so my heart was going, but to have young Lleucu (George) on her first start to get the kick over was fantastic."
