Premiership: Newcastle Falcons v Sale cancelled because of Covid at Sharks

Sale Sharks' match against Newcastle Falcons has been cancelled because of a "significant number" of coronavirus cases in the Sale squad.
A Premiership Rugby statement, external said the priority was the health and safety of players and staff at both clubs.
The match had been due to kick off at 15:00 GMT on Sunday.
Following the cancellation a Premiership Rugby panel will determine the allocation of points, with an announcement to be made in due course.
Premiership Rugby said: "Our priority is the health and safety of everyone involved with Sale Sharks and Newcastle Falcons and we will give the clubs any support they need. We wish everyone affected a full and speedy recovery.
"Neither Premiership Rugby nor the club will be naming any of the players or staff involved and we'd ask everyone to respect their privacy."
