Six more players have signed new one-year deals with Cornish Pirates.

Experienced prop Marlen Walker and fly-half Arwel Robson have joined scrum-halves Alex Schwarz and Ruaridh Dawson in committing to the Championship club.

Locks Will Britton and Josh Williams have also agreed new terms, having helped the Pirates to fifth place in the table this season.

They join Steele Barker, Will Gibson, Joe Elderkin and Will Trewin in signing new deals at the Mennaye this week.

Schwarz, 30, moved to Pirates in the summer of 2018 and the former Wales Under-21 player scored four tries in 13 Championship appearances this season, while Dawson, 25, has played 39 times since moving to the club in 2019.

Long-serving prop Walker, 34, first joined the club in 2015 and has featured more than 150 times, while Welsh fly-half Robson, 26, has just completed his second season.

Williams, 25, made 14 appearances this term after missing the whole of his first campaign with injury, while the 26-year-old Britton has featured in 25 games in his first season in Penzance.
