Cardiff City Stadium to host Welsh rugby's Judgement Day

Cardiff City Stadium is the home of Cardiff City Football Club and also regularly hosts Wales football games
Welsh rugby's Judgement Day double-header will be held at Cardiff City Stadium on 1 June.
Scarlets meet Dragons and Cardiff face Ospreys, with the two derbies normally staged at the Principality Stadium.
That venue could not be used this season because it is hosting other events with American singer Pink staging a concert on 11 June.
The games take place on the final weekend of the United Rugby Championship (URC) regular season.
Scarlets and Cardiff will be the "home sides" for the fixture. The venue is yet to be officially confirmed but URC put out videos on its social media channels of a promotional media day at the Cardiff City Stadium.
Welsh Rugby Union (WRU) interim chief executive Nigel Walker said in October there would still be a Judgement Day-style event with the Professional Rugby Board (PRB), who run the professional game in Wales, in talks about where it will take place.
The games have traditionally been held around Easter but this has been moved to later in this season due to the World Cup delaying the URC campaign.
Concert summer season
American singer Pink has announced a concert at the Principality Stadium 10 days after the Judgement Day date.
A Taylor Swift concert will be held at the Principality Stadium on Tuesday, 18 June, with the Foo Fighters playing seven days later.
A Bruce Springsteen concert has also been arranged for 5 May.
Cardiff City Stadium has a capacity of 33,280, compared to 74,5000 at the Principality Stadium.
Last season's Judgement Day event, in April 2023, attracted a crowd of 41,139 for the two matches, with Cardiff beating Ospreys and Dragons overcoming Scarlets.
