Logovi'i Mulipola: Saracens sign former Leicester Tigers prop on short-term deal

Saracens have signed former Leicester and Newcastle prop Logovi'i Mulipola on a three-month contract.

The 36-year-old, who has 33 Samoa caps, has joined the club on their trip to South Africa where they face Bulls in the Investec Champions Cup on Saturday.

The versatile prop will provide injury cover for Marco Riccioni, Eroni Mawi, Ollie Hoskins and Ralph Adams-Hale.

Director of rugby Mark McCall said, external: "He has great experience. We look forward to seeing him in a Saracens shirt."

McCall added: "He is already settling in with us in Pretoria and we are confident he will be a great addition to the group."

Mulipola has also played for Gloucester during an 11-year Premiership career which featured nearly 200 top-flight appearances.
