Former Wasps centre Sam Spink will join Saracens from Australian club Western Force for next season.

The 24-year-old spent nine years at Wasps before signing for the Perth-based side in 2023.

Spink has scored three tries in 16 appearances for Western Force, who are bottom of this season's Super Rugby table after seven matches.

Saracens announced the signings of fly-halves Louie Johnson, from Newcastle, and Crusaders' Fergus Burke, last week.

"There is still plenty of work to do here in Australia with the season only halfway through but I'm very excited to be heading home and joining such a great club like Saracens," Spink told Sarries' club website., external

"There is a really exciting young group forming and I can't wait to be a part of it going forward."

Spink played 26 games and scored three tries for Wasps between 2018 and 2022, the year the club went into administration, and also spent time on loan at Nottingham.
