    Hurst lbw b Overton 5 (Lancs 35-2 Target: 183)

It's all happening. Somerset have a second wicket.

  2. 6 runs

    Lancs 35-1 (Target 183)

Keaton Jennings looks very much in the mood and has creamed Craig Overton dismissively over long on for a maximum.

    That was really special.

Luke Wells has every right to stand there in disbelief.

    Lancashire 22-1 v Somerset 182-7

    Anthony Gibson
    BBC Radio Somerset

It was a stunning catch because Luke Wells really got hold of that. It was well away to the right of the fielder who plunged down to take that two-handed.

That's a wicket that Somerset badly needed.

  5. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 1.3 overs

    Wells c Pretorius b Gregory 7 (Lancs 22-1)

    Oh my word.

Luke Wells has clipped a bang average ball off his hip and Migael Pretorius has taken a worldie at short fine leg.

He had to dive to his right sharply and has pouched a brilliant grab.

There will not be a better catch all day.

  6. Postpublished at 1 over

    Lancs 15-0 v Somerset 182-7

Excellent start for Lancashire with a four and a six from Keaton Jennings off Craig Overton's opening over and 15 from it.

Should be a stroll at this rate.

That felt like a Jos Buttler tribute shot that scoop from Jennings.

    Lancs 7-0 v Somerset 182-7

What a way to kick off your knock. Keaton Jennings elegantly ramps Craig Overton for six.

    That was superbly timed.

    Lancs v Somerset 182-7

    Right... here we go.

This a significant total but the pitch does not look demonic and Lancs will fancy their chances.

    Gary Smee

It's an extraordinary sight seeing the Hollies Stand empty during the innings break.

A giant traffic cone is being followed by four huge bananas and half a dozen jockies up the stairs.

    Refreshments required...

  11. Lancashire need 183 to winpublished at 12:31 BST

    Lancs v Somersert 182-7

Will it be Somerset into another T20 Final or can Lancashire chase these down?

The Red Rose after just a second title after their success in 2015.

Gideon Brooks is here to take you through the second innings...

  12. Lancshire set 183 to winpublished at 12:30 BST

    Lancs v Somerset 182-7

    Stephen Moore
Former Lancashire opener on BBC Radio Lancashire

Overton and Pretorius scored 28 off nine deliveries at the end to get them up to that 180, which we felt about an hour out was going to be a defendable good total on what looks like a good wicket on a beautiful sunny day at Edgbaston.

  13. Somerset post 182-7published at 12:27 BST

    Lancs v Somerset 182-7

Well that was your classic T20 innings going one way then another and we've ended up with a target not knowing who's favourite to win.

Tom Kohler-Cadmore played superbly to make 81 from 52 balls but otherwise Lancashire generally had things in check.

But a couple of cameos and the last over going for 21 sees Somerset get a good number to work with.

Former England fast bowler on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

At 182-7 it does feel like a very good total.

Yet if you had Phil Salt and Jos Buttler at the top you are feeling like you have a fantastic chance of chasing this.

Without them, it does leave a lot on Liam Livingstone it feels.

  15. Somerset post 182-7published at 20 overs

    Lancs v Somerset 182-7

Migael Pretorius also gets one to swing down the ground for four!

And then a full toss is heaved over long-on for six! Big strike into the pavilion.

Final ball is chopped to long-on's left and they charge back for two.

  16. Postpublished at 19.3 overs

    Lancs v Somerset 170-7

Tom Apinwall with the final over.

Craig Overton swing hard down the ground and finds the fence!

    And then goes again!

Surely this is the wrong field with mid-off up?

Gets Overton to force to long-on for one next ball.

    Steven Finn
Former England fast bowler on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

That is an excellent innings from Tom Kohler-Cadmore and while as he trudges off he will have had eyes on a hundred there he has put his team in a fantastic position.

He has been the only one who has looked fluent on this pitch. He gave himself time at the top of the innings, scored at a run a ball for the first then picked his moments.

That is a good innings under pressure.

  18. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 19 overs

    Green c Blatherwick b Balderson 3 (Lancs v Somerset 161-7)

Craig Overton is the new man and he tucks two into the leg side.

George Balderson then bowls a poor low full toss heading to leg stump and Overton clips it for four.

A single to long-off follows before another swing to deep midwicket and another catch taken to remove Ben Green!

I thought we might be getting our first ever century at Finals Day... but it's not to be.

Luke Wright's 92 for Sussex in 2018 remains the highest score by a batter.

  20. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 18.2 overs

    Kohler-Cadmore c Blatherwick b Balderson 81 (Lancs v Somerset 154-6)

George Balderson with the penultimate over, at the Birmingham End.

Yorker first up, driven for one by Ben Green.

Tom Kohler-Cadmore then swings high leg side and holes out to deep midwicket!

Ends a fine knock in 52 balls.
