Prop Gondwe signs new Saracens deal

Prop forward Akina Gondwe has signed a new contract with Premiership side Saracens Women.

Gondwe scored four tries for Sarries last term after joining from Worcester and was named their players' player of the season.

"I've enjoyed myself since I arrived last October," Gondwe told the club website.

"I think my game has developed as a result. I’m excited for the upcoming season ahead with some amazing players."

Saracens Women get their Premiership season under way when they face Bristol Bears at Ashton Gate on 19 October.
