Cornish Pirates full-back Will Trewin has signed a new contract with the Championship side.

The 25-year-old is set to complete his second full season at the club and has made 37 appearances for the club.

The former Redruth and Cornwall back was also on the books at Exeter Chiefs as a youngster.

He is the fourth player to agree a new deal this week after forwards Morgan Nelson, Hugh Bokenham and Will Gibson.

“Will has been a big team contributor during his time with the Pirates, who has delivered not only on the pitch but off as well," Pirates joint-head coach Gavin Cattle said.

“As we have seen, he has developed his game and played consistently well in the Championship at either full-back or on the wing, and we are naturally delighted that he has signed for us again.”
