Cornish Pirates sign Welsh back Price-Thomas

Iwan Price-Thomas played schools rugby in Wales before joining University of Bath

Cornish Pirates have signed Welsh back Iwan Price-Thomas for the forthcoming Championship season.

The 23-year-old, who can play full-back and fly-half, is a former Wales Under-19 international and has also played for England Students.

He has most recently played for University of Bath.

"Iwan has been playing at Bath Uni where he has been a standout player at BUCS (British Universities & Colleges Sport) level," Pirates joint-head coach Gavin Cattle said.

"Possessing versatility as someone who is an exciting back three player, he can slot in at 10 as well, besides goalkicking being another string to his bow."
