England international Sadia Kabeya has extended her contract at Loughborough Lightning for the 2025-26 season.
The Red Roses flanker joined the Midlands side in 2021 and if selected will play her 55th game as a Lightning player this Friday against Trailfinders, their final Premiership Women's Rugby match of the season.
"I re-signed for Lightning firstly because of the people," Kabeya told the club website. , external
"The girls and the culture that we have here is great, it makes turning up and training and having those hard sessions worth it. The second reason was the type of rugby that we are playing."
Flanker Kabeya has 18 Test caps so far but missed out on England's WXV 1 title defence last autumn due to injury.
The 22-year-old has played nine games for sixth-placed Loughborough this season, scoring two tries.
