Saracens have re-signed Canadian international Alysha Corrigan ahead of the 2024-25 Women's Premiership Rugby season.

The 27-year-old scored eight tries in 26 appearances for Saracens during the 2021-22 title-winning season, including one in the Premier 15s final win over Exeter.

Corrigan switched to rugby sevens and was part of the Canada side that won silver at the Paris Olympics this summer.

She will join up with the team after the WXV tournament, which concludes on 13 October, with Saracens' first game of the new season a week earlier against Trailfinders.

"Alysha adapted really well in sevens and was a stand-out player at the Olympics," said director of rugby Alex Austerberry.

"She’s an incredible player who is really industrious and puts her body on the line every time she plays."
