Olympic silver medallist Bermudez joins Saracens

Canada sevens international Fancy Bermudez has signed for Saracens after winning a silver medal at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
The 22-year-old will link up with the north London club at the end of the WXV series next month.
Bermudez was part of the Canada side that beat overwhelming favourites Australia in the semi-finals in Paris before losing 19-12 to New Zealand, external in the gold-medal match.
Saracens reached the play-offs in the Premiership Women's Rugby last season, losing to Bristol Bears in the semi-finals.
“I’m very excited to be joining such a high-quality team, from the staff all the way down to the players," she told the Saracens website, external.
"My goal for the next year is to really dive into the 15s world and develop my game.
"The best way to do that is to compete against and play with the best. Saracens is a world class environment and I’m grateful to have the opportunity to join such an amazing programme.”
Saracens begin the Premiership Women's Rugby season at home to Trailfinders Women on Saturday, 5 October.
