The best teams, when they get that bit of momentum, they build on it and that's what Canada have done. Canada weathered the early storm and found a way.

You have to look at the numbers on these players' jerseys to know who are forwards and backs because they are so inter-changeable.

There are been some really good tries from Canada.

Wales came out of the blocks absolutely firing, we saw it in attack and defence. Georgia Evans showed her physicality with those carries.

What's positive is we know they can do it so they need to get back into the game and get the physicality back on the pitch.

Wales' replacements clapped their team mates off the pitch, the starting side looked a little dejected.

But they cannot afford to let heads drop or this could be a very long afternoon.

Sean Lynn has his arm around Lleucu George as they head down the tunnel for their team talk.

Wales desperately need to find a way to contain the Canadians in this second half, a task easier said that done.

I want to give credit to Wales in the way they started that game.

They came out with a bang, they looked fearless.

I don't want to take anything away from the raise in physicality and belief that this Welsh team is showing.

When it counts, when they get into those red zones, Canada execute and exploit.

Wales started brightly but Canada showed why they are the second best side in the world with four tries, three of those coming in a brutal spell under five minutes.

Prop McKinley Hunt grabbed two tries while wings Alysha Corrigan and Asia Hogan-Rochester also crossed.

Much to ponder for Wales at half-time as their World Cup dream appears to be vanishing.

Canada are trying to attack from everywhere but Wales' defence is much better in that area.

But the best form of defence is keeping the ball, and against this Canadian side, Wales need to have more possession.

We talked about those little passes, Canada have used the passing game to get in the 22 and the short passes and the power to get over the line.

That experience and cohesion is really showing right now.

That was a great try by the winger Asia Hogan-Rochester. that's what you want your wingers to be able to do.

Wales can't fall off those tackles but it's a world-class finish.

How do you defend this Canadian team?

You want to try and slow down the ball, so you commit players to the ruck, but that then opens up the spaces in the fringes of the ruck.

It's so difficult to stop them.
