    Scotland look completely rattled here.

It's reactional play, isn't it? Eating up the space in front of you, throwing in the odd dummy.

You get one, maybe two in behind a defence, it's almost impossible to try and defend.

    Canada 7-5 Scotland

    Andy Burke
BBC Sport Scotland at Sandy Park

Canada are rightly huge favourites, but Scotland have not looked cowed in any way in the opening 26 minutes or so.

The Scottish players spoke this week of the need to be clinical against a defence as stingy as Canada's.

It looked like all that pressure was going to yield little in return, but they showed great patience to engineer that opening for Rhona Lloyd to score.

    Rhona Lloyd

    The pressure tells!

The forwards go through the phases again and pick their moment to go wide.

Lisa Thomson dives to keep the ball alive and throws a magnificent offload to Rachel McLachlan.

The flanker keeps her cool, finds Chloe Rollie and this time the full-back puts Rhona Lloyd away to score in the corner.

Thomson's conversion attempt is off target.
