Glasgow head coach Franco Smith tells Premier Sports:

"Really happy with how the boys reacted from last week. Our defence was much more physical tonight, more connected.

"In general, both sides of the ball were good tonight. The fact we've changed seven players, sometimes you've got to learn the lessons every week.

"Each one that gets an opportunity is making full use of it, so I'm happy about that.

"They definitely tried to close our space down. We've learned to adapt to various line speeds, and credit to them - they kept coming at us."

Glasgow centre Huw Jones has been named Player of the Match and has been giving his thoughts to Premier Sports:

"It's a bonus-point win. We stopped them scoring a try, which was an aim going into it.

"Happy with the result, we had some good periods and a whole lot of nothing at times. On the whole, pretty good.

"We've got two games coming up in South Africa coming up. Those are real big ones and then we'll think about what comes next after that."

Eventually the ball is booted out of play, and that is that at Scotstoun.

Glasgow get the five points they came for, and move to the top of the URC before the rest of the weekend's fixtures.

The clock went red a long time ago, but Zebre want to have the last word out there.

A wonderful last-ditch tackle from Kyle Rowe stops Simone Gesi going over in the corner.

Glasgow are fighting right to the end.

They need another backs-to-the-wall effort here after Grant Stewart's lineout throw fails to find its mark.

Glasgow are awarded a free-kick and Giacmo Da Re's first-half penalty remains Zebre's only score of the game.

Speaking of ill discipline, Glasgow are pinged at the breakdown.

The visitors opt for a scrum, and Glasgow will need another big defensive effort.

This match started resembling a training exercise quite some time ago.

Glasgow have gone about their business in a very professional manner. Zebre have barely had a sniff in this second half.

If there's one minor criticism, it's Glasgow's ill discipline. They have so far conceded 10 penalties, the same as their opponents, and while in itself it's not a ridiculous number, it's too high for a match in which they have been utterly dominant.

Yes they can.

Stafford McDowall strips the ball superbly, but the Glasgow centre is then held up and Zebre will have another scrum.

Zebre have a scrum inside the Glasgow 22.

Can the hosts keep them out?

It's chalked off, much to the frustration of the home crowd.

Adam Hastings is judged to have played the ball in the tackle that sent the ball into Huw Jones' path, and referee Griffin Colby awards Zebre a scrum just inside their own half.

Hastings has a wry grin on his face - I suspect he knew.

Glasgow look certain to score their fifth try of the contest, but replacement Paatrick Shickerling fumbles at the wrong moment.

The attack was all sparked by a sparkling run down the left wing by George Horne.

Meanwhile, Giacomo Ferrari looks to have injured his left shoulder pretty badly, but is staying out there.
