Gregor Brown moves to the second-row from blindside flanker, where Euan Ferrie gets the nod, while Rory Darge returns after recovering from a head injury sustained in the home win over Benetton.

Normally when you run down the list of the URC fixtures at the start of any season, most sides will mentally put a little asterisk next to any home game against Zebre and mark that down as a prime opportunity for five points.

No doubt that is what Glasgow will be aiming for tonight, but they need only to look back to their last meeting with the Italians here at Scotstoun to appreciate that the result will not simply take care of itself.

Warriors were made to sweat before ultimately coming through to win 38-26 when the sides met in May.

The champions should be far too good for their opponents this evening, but they will need to go out and prove it.
