  1. Sin-bin Diego Escobar (Chile)published at 61 mins

    Chile 11-33 Scotland

Scotland are on the attack again, and only some very cynical hands in the ruck from Diego Escobar slows them down.

The Chile hooker is duly shown a yellow card and will sit out the next 10 minutes.

Great hands and a great finish from Matt Currie.

Just showing a clean pair of heels at the end there. Scotland moved the point of attack and got quick ball.

    Matt Currie

Matt Currie is also on for Scotland, and his fresh legs see him burn away from the Chilean defence and all the way to the try-line.

It's some slick hands that release the Edinburgh centre, and the hosts can't recover in time to stop him.

The conversion is good and Scotland now lead by 22 points.

    Chile 11-26 Scotland

Scotland's intensity has just dropped a touch in the last eight or nine minutes.

However, they win a penalty after Salvador Lues infringes at the breakdown, and Adam Hastings - on at fly-half - kicks the Scots downfield.

Just before that Diego Escobar try, Patrick Harrison came off the bench to make his Scotland debut.

A moment the Edinburgh hooker will never forget.

The stadium erupts with noise after Chile power over from close range.

There are thought to be around 15,000 fans in here but it sounded like double that.

Lot of Chile fans felt Escobar was unlucky not to start today after a brilliant club season for Selknam. If he was frustrated, he's certainly channelling it the right way.

You can see why Diego Escobar's off to Paris and the Top14 after that.

    The power was too much.

    Diego Escobar

Chile's rolling maul gets them to within five metres of the Scotland line, before their replacement hooker Diego Escobar peels away and crashes through a couple of would-be tacklers to score.

    A great finish.

    The conversion drifts wide.

    Oh hello, Tomas Salas.

The Chile fly-half judges his kick downfield to perfection and it rolls into touch for a 50-22.

    This is a big chance.

    Just clever play.

Scotland are being a little more inventive, moving the ball. Arron Reed does really well to get on the outside and straightens up. If he hadn't, Jamie Dobie was getting tackled into touch.

    A stunning Scotland score!

Some wonderful hands, and Jamie Dobie goes over in the corner for his second try of the game.

A lovely disguised pass from Sione Tuipulotu to Ben Healy creates the space, and from there it's just about getting the ball in Dobie's hands.

Healy's conversion is off target on this occasion.

Santiago Videla was very upright in that tackle, but after a quick check from the officials, it's decided that it only warrants a penalty.

Ben Healy puts a perfectly judged kick into the corner, and Scotland have a wonderful chance for a fourth try here...

Sione Tuipulotu has just flattened Santiago Videla.

A brutal carry from the Glasgow centre - pure power.

I managed to catch up with Chilean talisman Rodrigo Fernandez, the hero of the country's World Cup qualification, during the half-time break.

Unfortunately, he's missing these games with a knee injury - how he would dearly love to be out there on such a historic day for Chilean rugby.

In case there was any doubt about Fernandez's star power here, I've seen a fair few of these around

With today's party atmosphere, it is almost possible to forget the troubled history associated with the Estadio Nacional, which was used as a detention centre under the dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet.

A section of the stadium is permanently cordoned off as a reminder of the more than 40,000 people who were imprisoned, tortured, and killed here in the 1970s.

Chile were very good for 20 minutes, until the Josh Bayliss try really started to soften them up.

Scotland were error-strewn with no real momentum up until then. Scotland have figured it out now and have a lot of control and momentum.

Chile do indeed put the ball into the stands, and the players head for the changing rooms.
