    Chile 6-21 Scotland

Scotland are just starting to motor here and are getting plenty of joy out wide.

Jamie Dobie finds space down the right-hand side again, but just loses possession of the ball as he hits the deck.

There's three seconds left of the opening 40 minutes, and you suspect Chile will boot the ball out should they successfully navigate the upcoming scrum.

Chile need the half-time break. That third Scotland try has taken the energy out of the team and the crowd can sense it.

    Jamie Dobie

Scotland have a third, and this is nicely worked.

Ben Healy darts down the short-side and throws a lovely miss-pass into Jamie Dobie's path.

The scrum-half turned winger has a clear run to the line, and he's positively beaming as he dots down.

Healy continues his perfect record off the tee.

I'm really surprised the officials didn't have another look at that Sione Tuipulotu pass, but Scotland won't care one bit.

As I type, Gregor Brown gallops over halfway for the visitors. An impressive turn of pace from the Glasgow flanker.

Nice vision by Sione Tuipulotu. Chile were tight and Scotland didn't have a lot of options but Kyle Rowe was out there on the wing.

    Kyle Rowe

Kyle Rowe finds space out wide, and cruises in to score Scotland's second try of the game.

Sione Tuipulotu's pass to him looked very close to being forward, but the officials don't see a problem with it, and the score is given.

    Ben Healy's conversion sails through.

The crowd is going wild every time Scotland make a mistake.

Chile have never hosted a Tier One nation before and they're clearly making the most of it.

    Santiago Videla

Chile get themselves into the Scottish 22 with a series of strong carries, and force a penalty.

Santiago Videla knocks it through the posts to the delight of the home crowd.

    Great feet from Josh Bayliss.

That's the first time Scotland have managed to put two or three meaningful phases together.

    Josh Bayliss

Scotland are finally on the board.

Dylan Richardson's throw is accurate on this occasion, and after a couple of phases, Josh Bayliss skips past a tackle and barges his way over the line for the game's opening try.

Ben Healy adds the extras off the tee, and Scotland lead by four points.

    Chile 3-0 Scotland

    Another unforced error for Scotland.

They earn a lineout in Chile's 22, but Dylan Richardson's throw isn't straight and the chance has gone.

He'll get another go though. A big scrum from the Scottish pack wins a penalty and Ben Healy kicks to the corner...

The game is too stop-start. Scotland are struggling to make any ground.

    That only helps Chile.

Lucas Berti, the Chile scrum-half, exits well with a mighty box-kick.

Scotland are struggling to build any meaningful pressure.

    Chile 3-0 Scotland

Incredible defence from Chile to not only repel Scotland from close range, but to then wrap up the ball and win a feed at the resulting scrum.

It's been a hugely impressive opening 15 minutes by the hosts.

Scotland should want to keep the ball in hand as much as possible to put Chile under pressure.

The last three times Scotland have had the ball, Chile's discipline has let them down and they have given silly penalties away.

Scotland go to a rolling maul, one of their main weapons, in an attempt to get on the board.

They win a penalty, and will have another go after Ben Healy nudges a kick into the corner.

Santiago Videla became his nation's top points-scorer last week against Belgium and it's fair to say the home fans enjoyed that first penalty!

Chile have made a really assured start here, taking the game to Scotland.

They win another penalty at the breakdown, and centre Santiago Videla will have a pop at goal.

    Chile 0-0 Scotland

Dylan Richardson finds his jumper well from the lineout, but the maul goes to ground, and Chile get over the ball to win a penalty at the breakdown.

    An opportunity squandered.
