  2. 'We've got to keep teams out for longer' - Everittpublished at 21:45 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November

    FT: Edinburgh 50-33 Benetton

Edinburgh head coach Sean Everitt tells Premier Sports: "It was a game of two halves because of the weather.

"Still we put 50 points past Benetton which doesn't help often.

"The pressure was on in the [coaching] box, and that's why the bench went on early. We've got to keep teams out for longer periods - that would help relieve some of the pressure."

On Freddy Douglas: "He's got a great future ahead of him. He's humble, he's still learning at this level, but certainly made an impact off the bench.

"Our problem is when we go away and that's what we need to fix. Next week [against Gloucester] is our first step in that direction.

Edinburgh flanker and player of the match Jamie Ritchie tells Premier Sports: "Wind definitely played a part. We're proud of how we fought in the last 10 minutes because it could have got away from us.

"It's about consistently getting better and hopefully that should put us in the mix.

Captain Grant Gilchrist adds: "We're generally a bit disappointed with the second half. It is tough when you make one mistake and you're suddenly in your 22."

Ben Healy slots the penalty through the posts and Edinburgh reach 50 points with the last act of the game.

It was in doubt for a while in the second half, but Edinburgh get the job done.

    Edinburgh 47-33 Benetton

Darcy Graham slaloms through about a million (not really) tackles as Edinburgh look to finish on a high.

He's halted illegally and Malakai Fekitoa is duly shown a yellow card.

Jamie Ritchie has been picked as player of the match on the tele coverage.

    That's probably fair - he's been immense.

    Ben Muncaster

    That will surely be that!

Edinburgh go through phase after phase, with Jamie Ritchie at the heart of things, and eventually Ben Muncaster buries his way to the line.

Ben Healy keeps his conversion low and splits the posts.

    Goodness me.

On countless occasions there Edinburgh looked certain to score, but Benetton pinch it.

But now Edinburgh somehow win it back and win another penalty.

My keyboard is about to burst into flames...

Edinburgh go over the line in the latest twist in this incredible game, but there's a clear double movement.

No try, but Edinburgh have a penalty due to Benetton straying offside.

Will they tap and go from short range? An Edinburgh score here would surely kill this off.

    Malakai Fekitoa

    Here come Benetton!

The Italian side earn a penalty advantage which frees them up to go wide.

Malakai Fekitoa steps back inside and gets to the line.

Jacob Umaga converts and suddenly there is just seven points between the sides.

Edinburgh are pinged at the breakdown and Jacob Umaga kicks Benetton into the corner.

It's VERY nervy in the stands now.

    Agustin Creevy fancies this...

Benetton very nearly do have another try.

Jacob Umaga latches onto his own grubber kick through, but can't quite keep his next fly-hack under control and Edinburgh scramble back.

Another Benetton try and this becomes VERY interesting.

Edinburgh need to extinguish this fire.

Freddy Douglas is on for his Edinburgh debut.

He was born in 2005 - the same year Agustin Creevy made his Argentina debut.

Two players at the opposite ends of their respective careers.

    Benetton go over again.

It's another pick-and-drive that does the trick, this time from flanker Alessandro Izekor.

The conversion is good from Jacob Umaga.

Be honest, before that Price score, were you starting to get nervous?

Thumbs up if you were quaking in your proverbial boots; thumbs down if I was being pessimistic and you always thought Edinburgh would be fine...

Having just seen a replay of the grounding, I wonder if Ali Price is a lucky boy.

To me, there looks to be a tiny bit of separation between his hand and the ball before it's down.

    Still, the try stands.
