A win is a win but looking ahead to Fiji next week, will Andy Farrell make any changes? I'm sure he would love to but does he risk it after squeezing through this week?

Joe McCarthy, speaking to TNT Sport, who starts off with an ode to the crowd: "I just wanted to say a big thanks to all the crowd here. There's been a thing about the Aviva and the atmosphere but you were amazing today.

"We were really sorry that we disappointed you last week. We really wanted to show how much it means to us. We really appreciate your support, it means the world to us. Thank you."

He also dropped a Father Ted style swear word in there, which was quite amusing.

Full credit to Argentina, they were five metres away from a first-ever win in Dublin.

They are gathered in a huddle in the middle of the pitch. So close, but so far.

Ireland were slightly better than last week but I was so impressed with Argentina.

It was a classic game of two halves and Ireland hold on. Credit to the Irish defence but Andy Farrell will not be happy with that second half.

There's no celebrations at full-time. The Irish players are out on their feet and they know they've got away with one there.

Nice pieces of play from Sam Prendergast and Jamie Osborne but that is yet more incredible defence from Argentina. Their ruck defence has been immense.

Gomez Kodela's yellow card will stay a yellow, but it's irrelevant as he was off for the rest of the game anyway.
