We need to see new forwards coming off the bench, they're looking tired.

We've hardly kept the ball in the last 10 minutes and that's due to our forwards in the rucks.

  2. Replacements: Walespublished at 54 mins

    Wales 13-33 Australia

Wales change their entire front row with Ryan Elias, Nicky Smith and Keiron Assiratti all on - as well as flanker Tommy Reffell.

    Too little too late?

The Joe Schmidt effect is noticeable, the fact that they've simplified the game.

Yes, they do have strike runners, but more often than not, it's simple pick up and carries and keeping it tight around the fringes.

    The hooker has a hat-trick!

Wales had to fully commit to stopping the driving lineout but as soon as it halted, Matt Faessler peeled away at the 10-12 channel.

Ben Thomas almost got under him to save the try but the hooker wasn't to be denied his third.

    What a day for him!

If Rhodri Williams is coming on maybe there's still a chance for me. I haven't officially retired yet!

  6. Replacement: Walespublished at 50 mins

    Wales 13-26 Australia

What a moment for the perseverance of scrum-half Rhodri Williams who breaks the Welsh record for the longest wait between caps.

It is more than a decade since he won the last of his three caps against Scotland in 2014.

Now he's back and beating the previous longest gap between Test appearances, held by Bunner Travers who waited eight years between facing Ireland in 1939 and England in 1949.

The all-time record is New Zealand's Ned Hughes who had to wait a staggering 13 years, between 1908 to 1921. Now that's patience!

  7. Red card: Samu Kerevi (Australia)published at 49 mins

    Wales 13-26 Australia

As suspected, Samu Kerevi's yellow has been upgraded to a red so Australia will remain at 14 for another 13 minutes or so.

He can be replaced... but it's the last we'll see of Kerevi on his return to Test rugby.

Not the best way to celebrate 50 caps.

A lack of discipline has cost Wales there.

The tide has changed now, and Australia know exactly how to win this game.

Wow, that's the way to execute a driving maul.

Australia were so fast that Wales barely had time to set their defence.

    Faessler gets a second.

  10. TMO reviewpublished at 46 mins

    Wales 13-19 Australia

James Doleman has been alerted to a potential high tackle by Wales scrum-half Ellis Bevan on opposite number Nic White.

It's just a penalty and I think that's a fair call... Bevan's knee was on the ground when he made the tackle, though that's not saying cards have not been given for that before.

Saying that, White is going off.

    Wales 13-19 Australia

Tom Wright does a great job at the breakdown and 14-man Australia are managing these 10 minutes very well.

    Wales 13-19 Australia

Tom Rogers takes another high ball impressively.

He actually took a few steps backwards so that he could then run forwards and jump into the ball. Clever play.

He has fully justified his selection ahead of Rio Dyer.

Well that's not the best start as Australia win a penalty at the breakdown and clear to halfway.

Can Wales do what they failed to do against Fiji last week and make the most of the extra man?

Surely that changes to a red. I can't see him coming back on the pitch.

First yellow card of the game and Samu Kerevi is off to the bin for a head-on-head challenge with Jac Morgan.

It will be reviewed for a potential red.

But Australia are down to 14 for the next 10 minutes,

  17. Replacement: Australiapublished at 40 mins

    Interesting change at half-time.

The veteran prop James Slipper has replaced Angus Bell... and I think that's tactical after Archie Griffin gave him a tough time in the scrums.

Gatland needs to adapt the way we play with the ball.

It's frustrating because every other country has adapted but I feel we've started to late.

We need to play open rugby that suits the players we have available.

This is the 12th meeting as coaches between these old two mates Warren Gatland and Joe Schmidt.

They once played together for a New Zealand Schoolteachers side but are now rivals on the sidelines.

For the record, Schmidt (Ireland and Australia) leads the series 7-3.
