It's brilliant for Ireland to be back in front again psychologically but again it's about territory and trying to find some shape.

They were so good in the first half but haven't been allowed to play in the second half and that's credit to South Africa.

And now Ireland give away another penalty for being offside in a very kickable position!

The Irish feel that Feinberg-Mngomezulu touched it and now an Irish hand, but the decision stands!

    Alan Quinlan

An incredible dominance and pace from this South African side.

A brilliant 15 minutes from them at the start of this second half, they're going to put themselves in front and it's thoroughly deserved as their reaction has been unbelievable.

That dropped ball from Garry Ringrose right at the end of the first half is looking a bit more costly now.

  16. 'Big relief' for Irelandpublished at 17:33 British Summer Time 13 July

    South Africa 15-16 Ireland

    Alan Quinlan
Former Munster and Ireland flanker on Sky Sports

That's a big relief for Ireland.

That would have been a harsh red to be honest, but it's understandable with the law change to protect players. We have seen so many dangerous twists and lower limb injuries from players in that situation so it's a welcome change.

    Jonathan Bradley

There's been such a shift in momentum here.

South Africa were always likely to improve after the break, they didn't look on it at all over the first 40 minutes.

A huge test of Ireland now though with nine unanswered points and their skipper still in the bin for another few minutes
