    Game on.

Wales maul their way to within touching distance of the try line and Abbie Fleming - who has been immense for the visitors - dives over to score.

The conversion is good and we've got a grandstand finish on our hands.

It's been a tough week for Georgia Evans.

She was on the losing side in the Premiership Women's Rugby final with Saracens last weekend, and now she gets two cards, the second very likely to be upgraded to a red.

She held her hand up to her team mates when she left the field and also to Wales' management up in the stand.

  7. Red card Georgia Evans (Wales)published at 18:03 Greenwich Mean Time 22 March

    Scotland 17-7 Wales

There's clear contact with Chloe Rollie's head and Georgia Evans is shown her second yellow card as a result.

That results in a red and the incident has also gone to the bunker to be reviewed further.

Wales number eight Georgia Evans - who has already received a yellow card in this game - catches Chloe Rollie high in a tackle.

Another outstanding passage of play from Scotland.

It's Fran McGhie's pace, the alertness and working hard on the breakdown.

Thankfully, we've been given the all-clear for the try.

    This one does count.

Fran McGhie does brilliantly to chase down a kick and tackle Wales wing Lisa Neumann before getting up to compete at the breakdown.

The ball pops out of the ruck and centre Emma Orr reacts fastest to gather and race away to score.

Helen Nelson adds the extras and the hosts lead by 10.

You can definitely see Scotland are bringing tempo into the game. We've seen moments of brilliance from Lisa Thomson and Fran McGhie, you can see the moments of absolute skill and speed that they have.

There's been a few turnovers, a few rips, a few knock-ons, but when Scotland look after the ball they look really dangerous.

There's a live win predictor feature on the Women's Six Nations website, which currently has the likelihood of a Scotland victory at 75%.

Wales are at 20% with a draw down at 5%.

Take from that what you will.

Former Wales captain on BBC Two

Wales started with a bang in the first five minutes, the way they played, they went head to head, put pressure on Scotland.

Then, credit to Scotland, they've been pressing for the rest of that half. Missed tackles and indiscipline is costing Wales.

  17. Heroic Welsh defence finally breachedpublished at 17:38 Greenwich Mean Time 22 March

    HT: Scotland 10-7 Wales

The red wall has finally crumbled.

There had been some heroic defending from the visitors, but Scotland finally got what they deserved going in at half-time.

A further blow for Wales with Georgia Evans shown a yellow card for collapsing the maul - they are now missing one of their main ball carriers.

  18. Half-timepublished at 17:34 Greenwich Mean Time 22 March

    Scotland 10-7 Wales

That is that for the opening 40 minutes in Edinburgh, and unsurprisingly, it's finely poised.

Wales flew out of the blocks and hit the front through Carys Phillips' try, but Scotland have dominated proceedings since, and finally breached the visiting defence through Sarah Bonar.

All to play for after the break.

Wales number eight Georgia Evans was also shown a yellow card for illegally dragging down a Scottish maul in the build-up to Sarah Bonar's try.

The visitors will have to play the final stages of the first half - and indeed the opening stages of the second - with 14 players.

  20. 'Outstanding passage of play'published at 17:31 Greenwich Mean Time 22 March

    Scotland 10-7 Wales

    Heather Lockhart

An outstanding passage of play before the try, Rhona Lloyd was really getting amongst it.

It's the set-play for the try, the patience and then the low drive that got Scotland over the line.
