    England players arriving

I managed to get a good spot to watch the Red Roses walk into the ground.

You can sense the excitement, particularly from those who didn't play last week.

World Cup debutant Jade Shekells was loving it!

Today's skipper Marlie Packer took time to give love to as many fans as possible.

Head coach John Mitchell seemed less excited, instead deep in the zone.

The line was forming a good 30 minutes before arrival and it may not have been as crazy as last week, but it was a warm welcome to the World Cup hosts and favourites.

Just the 13 (THIRTEEN) changes for England as coach John Mitchell shuffles his very strong pack.

Speaking of strong packs, Marlie Packer is back in as captain.

England have won 28 matches in a row and have never lost a group game at a World Cup.

Samoa are semi-pros who had to crowd fund their trip to Northampton.

On paper it's a slam dunk home banker for the Red Roses. A record win could even be on the cards.

But stranger things have happened in sport...
