First Nations and Pasifika XV flanker Charlie Gamble, who was named man of the match, speaking to Sky Sports: "There were a few boys out there that were better than me but I am super proud to be involved in that one.
"It was pretty easy [to find motivation]. We are playing the best in the world and if you can't get up for that, then what is the point in playing? The Lions have world-class players and we are just trying to raise to their level.
"A group like us is a whole bunch of different cultures, we hold ourselves to our physicality, we started a bit slow but did really well to fight back."

First Nations and Pasifika skipper Kurtley Beale looked crestfallen at the final whistle as his side kicked the ball away when chasing an improbable win.
But he can be very proud of his men's effort tonight with Waratahs flanker Charlie Gamble again the scourge of the Lions with a man-of-the-match display, and the likes of Uru, Salakaia-Loto and Leota all providing the power the Wallabies were missing in Brisbane.
The Lions remain unbeaten in Australia but they will be disappointed not to control the game better.
With regards Test selection, Owen Farrell did his chances of a bench spot no harm with an efficient performance, while Jac Morgan's withdrawal on 50 minutes might given an indication as to Andy Farrell's thinking. Marcus Smith also went off for an HIA towards the end.
All eyes now turn to the magnificent MCG. Make sure you catch the Rugby Union Weekly podcast with the next episode dropping in the next couple of hours.
Charlie Gamble loves a game against the Lions. He is named player of the match to follow his great performance against Andy Farrell's side for New South Wales Waratahs.

Twenty of the first Test squad are not involved in Melbourne tonight. Only Ben Earl, Alex Mitchell and Marcus Smith have gone back-to-back. So how much of a chance is there to break your way into Saturday's side?
In the equivalent match in 2017 – Courtney Lawes, CJ Stander and Jack Nowell all made the Test team after missing out a week earlier.
Whilst in 2013 it was Ryan Grant, Sean O’Brien and Conor Murray who forced their way into the squad having played in the midweek match.
