Points scored, number of tries, dominant tackles - England are top of the statistical pops in plenty of categories for this tournament, but Australia also show up well on the spreadsheet.

Before the start of the third round of matches, the Wallaroos had made 418 successful tackles, more than any other team at this World Cup and have conceded the least turnovers.

Perhaps most impressively they have boasted the most efficient attack. They have come away with 5.2 points from each opposition 22 entry. Absolutely ruthless.

They are regulars at Ditchling RFC, big fans of Brighton's very own Marcus Smith and are ready to find new heroes in the women's game.

Earlier, the USA thrashed Samoa 60-0 and you can read all about that match in our report written by a very handsome up and coming journalist.

It basically means that if England beat Australia by 76 points and the Wallaroos don't nab a bonus point, Australia are dumped out of the World Cup.

So, something to aim for I reckon.
