Edinburgh look to go quickly off the back of a really dominant scrum but Ben Healy can't gather James Lang's throw.

Luckily they had an advantage to fall back on, and Healy redeems himself with a big boot into the corner.

Edinburgh need to step on the gas now. They have been guilty this season of taking their foot off the throat of their opponents and allowing them back into the game.

Wes Goosen looks dangerous every time he gets the ball, as he has done all season, and Duhan van der Merwe could be doing with the ball in space rather than running into traffic.

Zebre do well to keep possession from the scrum and they're targeting a score that would bring them back into the contest.

Unfortunately for the visitors, Jamie Ritchie gets over the top of the ball in the breakdown and wins a crucial turnover for the hosts.

Zebre have come out swinging here.

They push and probe Edinburgh's defensive line, but some scrappy play under the high ball brings their attack to a close, and we'll have a scrum.

The second half is under way in Edinburgh

Edinburgh prop Robin Hislop told Premier Sports at half time:

"That first try is a really good finish, it's not an easy finish that. We've spoken a lot during the week about discipline in that area. We've been talking all week about sticking to the plan and that's what we've done.

"I'm hoping we've ground Zebre down enough and they'll be tired in the second half so we can get the ball out to likes of Wes Goosen, Duhan van der Merwe and Matt Currie."

Ewan Ashman has been the shining star so far for Edinburgh and has the Zebre defence stumped at how to deal with him.

Edinburgh's head coach Sean Everitt will be a lot happier with how his side ended the half after a bit of a rocky start.

Still lots for the hosts to work on though as it was a massive gap in the defence that led to Geronimo Priciantelli's try.

With the clock in the red and neither side going anywhere, Zebre full-back Geronimo Prisciantelli says enough is enough and kicks the ball into the stands.

Zebre are quick off the restart and Giovanni Montemauri looks as if he is going to go all the way but they give a penalty away at the breakdown and Edinburgh kick up to half way.

Edinburgh have turned up the heat and the whole team are involved in trying to get over the line here.

Zebre's defence kept them camped out on their try line. Referee Ben Breakspear is having a look to see if there is a grounding amongst all the bodies.

Duhan van der Merwe goes on his own off the restart but he is taken down just outside the Italian 22.

It's the most glorious evening in Edinburgh.

It was Zebre who made the bright start but that try from Ewan Ashman should settle things down.

First thing's first, secure the win and hopefully the bonus point.

Beyond that, it would be good to see some attacking verve that will make Edinburgh a more dangerous proposition in the final games of the season and hopefully on into the playoffs too.

Zebre are looking lively off the back of the restart and are up into the Edinburgh half.
