Luka Ivanishvili just put Luke Crosbie on his backside.

Not many people can do that to the Edinburgh captain.

Pierre Schoeman, Paddy Harrison and Paul Hill are replaced on the 50 minute-mark. Probably good for big Schoeman before the Six Nations.

Boan Venter, Ewan Ashman, and Javan Sebastian are off.

Matt Currie is also replaced by Mosese Tuipulotu.

    Paddy Harrison

Black Lion concede their fourth penalty in the second half already, and Ben Healy kicks down to the 5m line again.

Edinburgh's maul is held up as Harrison stumbles, and they go through the phases out to the right, then back to the left. Who's waiting for it?

Harrison the hooker, who fends off one tackle and tucks it under his arm to go over the line.

First miss of the day for Ben Healy.

  4. converted try

    Matt Currie

Edinburgh have numbers out wide but Wes Goosen straightens up and puts Ben Healy through a gap on the inside.

Paddy Harrison tries a snipe, as does Pierre Schoeman, but they're both repelled.

Evenutally, with the visiting defence compressed, it's pinged wide by Charlie Shiel to James Lang, who offloads quickly to Matt Currie and he's able to gallop in.

Healy has been faultless from the tee today, and he slots another conversion.

Edinburgh have come out early and put themselves through a pretty strenuous warm-up. I suppose most of them haven't run about for about 25 minutes.

Back under way at the Hive.

  6. Gloucester trail in Francepublished at 13:58 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January

    HT: Bayonne 22-10 Gloucester

In Pool 3's other game of the afternoon, Bayonne have had the better of the first 40 against Gloucester.

Tries from Baptiste Germain, Lucas Martin and Camille Lopez have the home side in control at the break.

Gloucester's points came from a converted Charlie Chapman try and a George Barton penalty.

A reminder that you can listen to that game via the link at the top of the page.

  7. Half-time Edinburgh 24-3 Black Lionpublished at 13:58 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January

No, Tom Dodd did not touch it down first. Edinburgh don't have the bonus point try - yet.

And with that, the first half comes to an end.

It's been a decent performance, without being outstanding, from Edinburgh. Black Lion's discipline has let them down but they are proving to be a right pest.

We'll bring you the second half shortly.

Well, Tom Dodd definitely touches the ball down when it is behind the line.

It is hard to say when Luka Ivanishvhili rips the ball, whether or not he's off his feet or not, or if anyone taps the ball down before Dodd does.

This would be a bonus point for Edinburgh, as well as a fourth try, if it counts.

    Edinburgh 24-3 Black Lion

Edinburgh tap-and-go, it looks like it's turned over on the line, but Tom Dodd thinks he's scored.

We're off to the TMO again! This half will end eventually...

Time is off again with the clock in the red, and there's a bad injury to a Black Lion player which the medics are taking every precaution with.

It's Mikheil Gachechiladze, the moustachioed openside, who is being removed on a stretcher.

Meanwhile, replacement prop Giorgi Chkhartishvili is into the bin for one of a litany of penalties that Black Lion conceded during that phase.

After the news on the injury front this weekend, the last thing any Scotland fan wanted to see was Darcy Graham crashing into an advertising board!

Fortunately the wee man bounced straight back up and looks fine.

    Edinburgh 24-3 Black Lion

Paul Hill breaks free and the tighthead released Paddy Harrison with a cat-flap offload!

The hooker is in open prairie and throws a huge spiral out to Lewis Wells, who jinks inside and is caught.

The ball is recycled and Ben Healy chips a cross-kick into Harrison's arm, and he pops inside to Wells who crashes towards the line.

Held up again, but with an advantage, Healy kicks to the other side and Darcy Graham is able to gather but can't touch down before he crashes into the advertising hoarding.

I think Luke Crosbie is trying to break his tackle record from last week (37).

    He's got 15 already.

Ben Healy has hit a couple of beautiful spiral kicks in this first half.

A dying art in the modern game.

  15. Red card Magnus Bradbury (Edinburgh)published at 34 mins

    Edinburgh 24-3 Black Lion

Edinburgh are down to 14 as Bradbury trudges off.

It didn't look good at the time, it didn't look any better on the replay or in slow motion. No real surprise at that decision from the referee.

Time off as tighthead prop Bachuki Tchumbadze wears a high shot, shoulder to head, from Magnus Bradbury.

He's still down and Jeremy Rozier is now consulting the TMO. This does not look great for Bradbury, the Edinburgh number eight.

    Luke Crosbie

Another bit of ill-discipline at maul-time puts Edinburgh back down in Black Lion's 5m.

The throw is good, the drive is even better, and captain Crosbie goes over.

Healy skips up to the ball and nails the kick. He makes it look so easy.

    Wes Goosen

Edinburgh have their second in clinical fashion.

They tap and go from the penalty, sucking in defenders, before throwing wide. Ben Healy thinks about kicking but just passes to Goosen, who darts over the line.

From out wide, Healy strokes it through the sticks.

    Edinburgh 10-3 Black Lion

A high tackle on Marshall Sykes now affords Edinburgh an opportunity, and Ben Healy kicks for the corner.

Paddy Harrison's throw is much better and the seven-man pack rumbles forward. The backs pile in, and the penalty is forthcoming.

Sam Skinner is free on the wing, but he stumbles on his way to the line and is held up.
