Toulon 32-35 Saracens

This is a great start from Toulon. This is nasty, horrible rugby to play with direct bruising. There is nothing you can do to stop rugby like this when it's going.
Saracens are being worn down, and the substitute crashes over from close range with help from Kyle Sinckler. Jaminet misses the conversion, but the impetus very much with the home side now.

Wow! I never saw that coming, what with Sarries 'weaker' team selection. But, has the momentum swung back to Toulon? Will their stronger bench be the difference?

Toulon suck in a few Sarries defenders, then spin it to the left and the full back has acres of space to dot down. He also goes handily close to the posts to slot a simpler conversion.

It kills me to say it, Toulon have to go back to basics. They cannot go through their basics with letting the likes of Juan Martin Gonzalez affect them.
It feels like Toulon have just turned up, dropped their bags off and gone into training.

Theo Dann drives to five metres out, then he has a go again before they move to the left. Strong Toulon defence keeps them at arm's length but a penalty may be coming here.
Burke's chip goes dead, but the penalty goes their way.

Let us not kid ourselves Saracens have left out their internationals because this is a really strong side on the field. My worry is their really young and inexperienced bench.
