That's the response. That's the response the team want.

Can you stay in the game when things are going wrong and things go against you? The World Cup will be full of things that go wrong and it'll be about how quickly you can deal with it.

There is the response! England nick the ball from the scrum and wheel left, full-back Sing is free and flies over. She adds the kick as well!

It's about how England respond now. They've just been scored against, they'll be really disappointed.

John Mitchell will be looking at how they respond.

No one more deserving than Pena for that try. She's battled today. The tackles she's put in today have been unbelievable.

It was a cracking hand off. England will be disappointed with the defence but Spain deserved something from that play.

The biggest cheer of the day!

A brilliant score too as the Spain full-back hands off a tackle, breaks the line and runs through to score in style.

    Amalia Argudo adds the conversion.

She's been running the hard lines and she gets the opportunity to run the try in there from a lovely offload.

The speed of the ball in the rook has been excellent from England and Lilli Ives Campion has the speed to finish it off.

She's a phenomenal player with loads of potential.

    Lilli Ives Campion

A first try for England! Lilli Ives Campion is on the scoreboard after more great attacking play by the pack, the offloads are too quick and accurate for a tired Spain and she can walk in under the posts.

Fantastic try again. Really cool set-up from England. They're showing their class now and their ability to move the ball in those crucial situations. Excellent hands from the Red Roses.

Sarah Bern from one metre out, we've said it before, Spain are going to struggle to stop her from there.

Great build-up from England who are looking to move the ball that little bit quicker which gives their attacking players a little bit more space.

Spain resist for 92 seconds as England's forwards get to close to the line and a rampaging Sarah Bern does the rest.

England are looking after the ball really well. If the option isn't on they're keeping the ball and just looking to get over the line really easily.

The crowd have already begun cheering Spain’s spirited moments.

Prop Mireia de Andres’ turnover in the shadow of her own posts earned applause from the Mattioli Woods Welford Road’s north stand, while there were groans of disappointment when Las Leonas were held up over the line on a rare attack.

The biggest plus for England head coach John Mitchell at half-time is probably that fly-half Zoe Harrison was able to get up and get playing after suffering a knee knock.

It's been a great first half. You can't underestimate the amount of tackles Spain have made in that first half just to keep England out, and they've still conceded 43 points.

England will be pretty pleased with that performance so far.
