Looking at the Ben Thomas incident in slow motion and it looks like murder. It's ridiculous.

The game isn't played in slow motion. So why?

    Wales 14-14 Argentina

Wales hold out a driving lineout thanks in no small part to intelligent play from captain Jac Morgan who got right in the middle of the Argentina maul.

Adam Beard punches the air in delight.

    Wales 14-14 Argentina

Ben Thomas was having his leg held in the tackle area by Pablo Matera.

But the Wales centre clearly lashes out with his boot but what is not clear is whether he makes contact with Matera's head.

That yellow card is under review.

There's a pause in play for a few injuries, not surprising given the pace of this opening quarter.

But now referee Ben O'Keefe says he wants to have a look at an incident on the screen.

Mateo Carreras gives another warning of just how exciting he is.

The winger speeds down the left after fending off Ben Thomas.

    He's the Pumas' dangerman.

It was the endeavour and the speed of the reaction by Wales.

The Pumas caught us by surprise at one end but we caught them by surprise down the other end.

Full credit to Wales. They have taken Argentina on with power but are also spreading the ball with some nice patterns as well.

We've already seen a difference in the way that Wales play.

    Lake try, Edwards con

This time Wales do get over the line.

Wales take a tap penalty, Morgan is hauled down short but the timing of Tomos Williams' pass to the on-rushing Lake is sublime.

The hooker gets his seventh Wales try and the conversion means we're all square.

Tomos Williams and Josh Adams combine to send Wales 70 metres upfield.

The scrum-half hoofs a quick drop-out up field and Adams shows he has lost none of his pace over the years as he chases down Santiago Carreras to win a scrum mid-way into Argentina's half.

The old heads turning defence into attack.

The big difference for Wales there is the speed in which they recycle the ball.

It's great work from Tom Rogers and the offload from Jac Morgan to Tomos Williams is brilliant.

    Tomos Williams try, Edwards con

    Wales hit back.

Tom Rogers scythes through the Pumas midfield, Jac Morgan - who else! - is in support and sends Williams clear with a wonderful off-load.

It all came from a botched penalty kick to the corner by Argentina.

    But Wales REALLY needed that.

The crowd has come back to life.

That was far too easy for the visitors.

The ball bounced kindly for Argentina but Wales weren't quick enough to get there.

    Prisciantelli try, Carreras con

Pumas are in for a second - two in three minutes!

This is a terrible start for Steve Tandy and Wales.

Dan Edwards lofts a high ball to the left wing but Tom Rogers' effort to palm the ball back into play only goes to an Argentine hand.

Mateo Carreras spots the open space in front, kicks ahead and the fly-half Prisciantelli wins the foot race.

That is the area that Argentina are so strong in.

They have scored tries like that against the world's very best. They trust in the power of their pack.

    It does!

Wales rebuff the first couple of goes but the big-tight-head is hard to stop from a metre out - even with Jac Morgan trying to wriggle his body under the ball.

A lively start here under the roof.

Mateo Carreras gives Wales an early warning of his pace but Blair Murray returns the compliment, hacking the ball back up field to set the hosts an early attacking chance.
