As much as the desire from the defence is brilliant, it's giving away penalties and is allowing New Zealand to stay down in the Scotland 22. New Zealand on attack - not one handling error.

Scotland's problem is they are having to work so hard to make even the slightest gain. The All Blacks are meeting them hard on the gainline.

In contrast, the visitors are making big gains from few phases, their offloading game stretching the Scottish defence.

Scotland need to go up a level with their physicality in defence.

Brilliant first attacking set from Scotland. Started with a good lineout then lovely second phase and we turned the winger.

Lots of forwards carrying, lots of players offering lines but it just got a bit frantic.

What a great bit of skill. He goes through he middle of the ruck. It should be the easiest place to defend but sometimes you don't defend it well. A very positive start from New Zealand.
