Great news in Toulouse! The stricken parachutist is on a fire engine's ladder and is absolutely fine with the only injury seemingly to his ego and professional pride.

Bordeaux attack coach Noel McNamara saw Damian Penaud, Ben Tameifuna, Adam Coleman, Romain Buros, Maxime Lamothe and Rohan Janse van Rensburg touch down, but knows they will have to be better to get past Munster.

McNamara said: "The first thing you've got to do is give a lot of credit to Ulster. A lot of teams at 21-0 down might have struggled a little bit. They came back at us, they got a couple of tries at the end of that first half and again in the second half, they never went away.

"We spoke about it during the week, we spoke about it again this morning, how much this competition means to Irish teams and how difficult they are to beat, so I think that was very much in evidence today.

"Obviously for us, the most important thing is getting through to the next round, and what a challenge that's going to be.

"We've got a short turn-around - it's only six days - and realistically speaking we probably know that that won't be good enough, but I felt that overall it's a positive and lots for us to work on."

Firefighters are in the stand trying to get the parachutist down, while they have moved in what looks like a bouncy castle to put underneath him. This is very bizarre and definitely not something an elite sportsperson has prepared for.

A similar thing happened at Burnley back in 2008 - though as my colleague pointed out it's a bit windier at Turf Moor than in Toulouse.

The parachutist on that day only had cuts and bruises.

Supporters in the section underneath the parachutist have been cleared out of their seats while the authorities work out how to get them down.

That's a long time to be dangling.

The match will now kick-off at half past, all being well.

As if Sale's task wasn't hard enough they will now have a half hour delay to contend with.

I've seen some odd things delay sporting events in my time but this is up there. The parachutist is stuck to the top of the stand and it's a long way up. This may not be the work of minutes.

The game will be delayed while they get him down.

As you'd expect, given it's a very nice day in the north west of England just now, it looks absolutely glorious in Toulouse.

Toulouse have pedigree in spades, winning the Champions Cup a record six times, including last year when Thomas Ramos kicked three extra-time penalties to help edge out Leinster.

Sale have never gone beyond a quarter-final, though they have won the Challenge Cup on two occasions.
