Claudia MacDonald has had to show so much resilience to get her to today, especially with a neck injury in a contact sport like rugby.

It's her awareness and she is a smart rugby player.

Although England ran away with last year's Six Nations, goal-kicking was a consistent problem.

Full-back Emma Sing's form off the kicking tee was a big factor for her inclusion today and she is certainly not letting England down, with only one miss from her four attempts.

The way she strikes the ball is so clean and the crowd are expecting it to go over every time. That has not always been the case for this side.

Small margins in World Cups may mean more of Sing this campaign.

It also frees up Holly Aitchison and Helena Rowland to focus on their game after their goal-kicking struggles.

    Simon Middleton
Former England Women head coach on BBC Two

I would be giving England a big rap for the way they started the game, physicality wise. They have got a little bit loose now with a few errors, so I think John Mitchell will be talking about the basics.

I like how England are getting it really wide and they are also running those in-lines.

I like seeing players who have gone through tough times, like Claudia MacDonald who has had some horrible injuries, step up. I love players taking their opportunities.

I think England will be pleased with that. They didn't finish everything off. You have to give credit to Italy in what they did.

That was incredible reactions - the speed at which she noticed that overthrow, she got onto it and scored straight away.

Amy Cokayne is an instinctive player, very smart and very skilful.

Try - England 26-5 Italypublished at 34 mins

    Francesca Sgorbini

Italy are over from the driving maul and it's a moment they deserve.

They have showed plenty of resolve against a relentless English attack and they finally get some joy at the other end.

The maul keeps on rolling towards the England line and Sgorbini dives over for the try.
