That's brilliant from Morgan - the audacity for the charge-down. the pace going through and bravery going down on the ball.

The alterness to recycle off the deck, get back on his feet and take that five metres out. He was not passing that with the line at his mercy.

    Ulster v Glasgow (19:45 BST)

Morgan and Barrett aren't the only potential debutants for Ulster this evening with former Sharks back-three player Werner Kok included among the replacements.

There have been plenty of outgoings at Kingspan Stadium too. Steven Kitshoff is certainly the most high-profile, even if injury meant it was known he'd played his last game for the province months before the end of last season. Joining him at the Stormers is Dave Ewers, who's own Ulster stay also lasted just one season.

The side's longest-serving player, Luke Marshall, retired, while Billy Burns, who has been the first-choice number ten for six seasons, was allowed to join Munster.

Will Addison was playing some very good rugby at the end of last season and there will have been plenty around the team sad to see him head back to Sale Sharks too.

Ins: Werner Kok (Sharks), Aidan Morgan (Hurricanes), Michael McDonald (return from loan), Corrie Barrett (Doncaster Knights) Zac Ward (trial).

Outs: Steven Kitshoff (Stormers)Will Addison (Sale), Billy Burns (Munster), Luke Marshall (retired), Dave Ewers (Stormers), Greg Jones, James French, Shea O'Brien (all released).

    Ulster v Glasgow (19:45 BST)

Irish international Iain Henderson has backed continued South African involvement in the United Rugby Championship.

The 2024-25 URC campaign, which begins on Friday night, will be the fourth for the Bulls, Stormers, Lions and Sharks in what was once a northern hemisphere competition.

Reports during the off season suggested talks have been held over a British and Irish league, but the Ulster captain believes exposure to the South African sides has raised standards across the league.

"The South African teams have added a different element to the competition," he told BBC Sport NI.

    Ulster v Glasgow (19:45 BST)

With Ulster using one of their non-Irish qualified spots on Werner Kok this season, there'll no doubt be a few eyebrows raised to see the South African only make the bench this evening.

Irish internationals Jacob Stockdale and Mike Lowry start on the wings while, after an injury-hit campaign last time around, Ethan McIlroy gets the nod in the 15 jersey.

It's a position the 24-year-old hopes to fill frequently this season.

"I'd love to nail down the full-back role. I feel that’s where you can get the best out of me," said McIlroy,
