Will Skelton at the heart of the melee after the Lions drop the ball.

That's the kind of edge that was missing in Brisbane, although he is maybe lucky not to be carded for a shot on Furlong after the whistle.

Proper test this for the Lions.

A scrum penalty is awarded to the Lions and then there is some afters. Proper niggle in this one. Tadhg Furlong is loving it.

The opening 20-30 minutes are critical for Australia. It's imperative that they get off to a good start, to keep the game and the scoreline close and get the crowd involved. They let the first Test and the Lions run away from them last week.

The Lions again opt for the sky. James Lowe does well to put pressure on but the Wallabies clear long through Tom Lynagh.

Great start from Australia. Their big men like Valetini on the ball early as the Wallabies win more collisions in the opening minutes than they seemed to manage in the whole first half last week.

But Russell replies with a very clever kick-off as the Lions try to get into the game.

Two line-outs to Australia, the first went very short to one of their props, the second over the top - different variations keeping the Lions guessing.

Australia again do not deal with a restart. Once again though they clear after taking a clean line-out.

A confident strike from dead in front and just outside the 22. I've seen those missed.

Another penalty for the Wallabies as the Lions step offside. This is a much better start from the hosts than last week.

    They call for the posts.

First look at big Will Skelton on the charge. He is easily taken down and Maro Itoje strips the ball. It is a penalty as his knees were on the ground.

    Good chance now for Australia.

Australia let the ball bounce but do win their own line-out. A nervy enough start from the hosts.

  17. Kick-offpublished at 11:04 British Summer Time 26 July

    Australia 0-0 Lions

Will Australia do what they did in 2013 and draw the series level in the second Test? Will the Lions secure their first Test series win since 2013?

One of the two will happen and we are under way at a bouncing Melbourne Cricket Ground.

We are lucky to go to a lot of rugby at a lot of great stadiums, but this is totally and utterly sensational.

A proper once-in-a-lifetime experience for these supporters.

Now for a game to match the occasion.

Incredible light and laser show - atmosphere fantastic but it was the same in Brisbane and then the game itself didn't quite live up to the hype.

What will the next two hours hold for us?
