    Sharks 34-10 Munster

Munster have opted for a 6:2 split on the bench and they look to some of those forward replacements now.

Hooker Diarmuid Barron and back-row Alex Kendellen, wearing number 23, are both on for the visitors.

    Jordan Hendrikse - 49 mins

A Munster offside is punished with another three points off the boot of Hendrikse.

    Sharks now four-scores clear.

    Sharks 31-10 Munster

Munster look to make some early headway in the second half and opt for a tap and go penalty five minutes out.

The ball squirts loose from the subsequent breakdown, however, and Lukhanyo Am comes away with it.

We're back underway in Durban with the Sharks three scores to the good.

    Can Munster mount a response?

  5. Half-time - Sharks 31-10 Munsterpublished at 15:45 British Summer Time 26 October

This always looked a tough assignment for the southern province and so it has proved with Sharks taking the lead after less than a minute and wrapping up their try bonus in just 37 minutes.

Still, with two tries already on the board, Munster could eye up four scores of their own in the second half.

    They certainly do!

The Sharks scrum has Munster backpedalling at a rate of knots.

By the time the ball comes out, Sharks are playing with the advantage.

It's a one-out pass to big centre Andre Esterhuizen who bursts his way across the line and brings up the bonus-point score a few minutes before half-time.

A few frustrated faces out there for Munster at the minute.

Niall Scannell the latest to give away a penalty, this time in his own 22.

Sharks opt for the scrum rather than going to the corner. Bold call, will they make it count?

    Mike Haley - 31mins

That's better from the visitors and they have their second score of the afternoon.

Calvin Nash carries well to get Munster to within five metres of the line and Craig Casey whips his pass out to the short-side.

Mike Haley slips between two would-be tacklers to score.

Jack Crowley doesn't get the connection he wants on the conversion and Munster have to make do with just the five points.

Another penalty at the scrum and it looks like it's Stephen Archer again drawing the referee's whistle.

Oh, but Hendrikse misses touch again with the penalty.

Those two errors are about all that hasn't went the Sharks' way in this opening half hour.

Grant Williams (try); Jordan Hendrikse (conv) - 24mins

Well, that reprieve didn't last long...

Mapimpi and Fassi are really enjoying themselves out there and the two 'Boks backs combine brilliantly with a chip and chase.

Grant Williams, who runs those support lines so adeptly, is on the shoulder for the score.

The TMO checks for a push in the build-up but the score is given.

Been a while since we've seen that happen!

Jordan Hendrikse is looking to take every available inch out of a penalty won by Siya Kolisi at the breakdown but it hits the corner flag, bouncing back into play.

That's a let off for Munster!

    Tom Ahern - 19mins

A try out of nothing for Munster and boy did they need that!

A bit of confusion with the ball in the air for the Sharks and Rory Scannell comes through on the counter-ruck.

The ball pops out for Tom Farrell who gives the pass to Tom Ahern in space.

The speedy nine gave game chase but, despite catching the big lock, he couldn't stop him from getting over the line.

    Jordan Hendrikse - 14mins

Going up against such a heavyweight pack, the scrum will have been a concern for Munster coming in.

Sure enough, there's a penalty at the set-piece with Hollie Davidson whistling Stephen Archer for collapsing.

No mistake off the tee from Hendrikse again who adds the three points from about 40m.

    Sharks 14-0 Munster

Munster look to respond to their early deficit but Tadhg Beirne is held up over the line.

It looks like it was Eben Etzebeth getting underneath the ball.

Some head-to-head there between the two vastly experienced Test locks.

Makazole Mapimpi (try); Jordan Hendrikse (conv) - 5mins

The Sharks are in again and running rampant.

Regathering the ball off Grant Williams' box kick, three quick passes get them to the outside and Makazole Mapimpi shows great strength to finish in the corner.

Calvin Nash, though, won't want to see that again. He had a chance to knock the Springbok into touch but Mapimpi broke his tackle.

A fantastic conversion from Hendrikse splits the uprights.

Aphelele Fassi (try); Jordan Hendrikse (conv) - 1min

What a start for the Sharks!

Unbelievable from the hosts who lead after only 45 seconds.

It's scrum-half Grant Williams who makes the break and once the ball is in the hands of the lightening quick Aphelele Fassi there is no catching him.

Off a few bad results, this isn't what Munster will have wanted at all.

Munster welcome back Rory Scannell into the mix over in Durban with the centre making his first appearance since June after injury.

After a much shorter absence, there's a return too for Irish international scrum-half Craig Casey.

He's one of those who will be joining up with Andy Farrell's panel next week with Calvin Nash, Jack Crowley and Tadhg Beirne the other starters who the national coach will no doubt be crossing his fingers in the hope they all come through unscathed.

In a team stacked with Springboks, there are familiar faces everywhere among the Sharks side, although one in an unfamiliar jersey with Siya Kolisi wearing number eight this afternoon.

Former Munster and Leinster lock Jason Jenkins is among the replacements for the hosts.

A little while ago, Glasgow wrapped up an impressive bonus-point win over the Stormers, ensuring they'll head back to Scotland with seven points from their two games in South Africa.

Last night the Bulls beat Benetton on the road, while Scarlets enjoyed a third league win in a row with victory over Zebre.

All four Irish provinces are in action on Saturday

With all four provinces in action, it's wall-to-wall URC this afternoon and evening in what is the last league action before the four-week international break.

Perhaps a little unusually, there will be plenty of Ireland Test stars in action throughout the day and no doubt some will be watching through their fingers hoping for no injuries with that huge game against New Zealand now under two weeks away.

We'll be starting with Munster's visit to the Sharks (15:00 BST) before taking in the top of the table clash between Leinster and the Lions (17:15 BST), Ulster's trip to Cardiff and Connacht hosting the Dragons (both 19:35 BST).

    Settle in and enjoy!
