Tatyana Heard smashes her way towards Scotland's 22. What a carry from the inside centre. The handling is so slick as England go in search of another score.

All smiles from Ellie Kildunne, who is spotted banging a drum in the crowd. Helena Rowland has been rock solid at full-back, but you'd still expect Kildunne to return for the semi-finals.

Kildunne is missing this game because she sustained a concussion in last weekend's win against Australia.

We have just seen England overplaying in their own 22. It's just not working.

Scotland are having a nice spell here but they can't cross. England have not conceded a try during the second half of a match at this World Cup - a record that looks likely to remain.

Christine Belisle and Jade Konkel come off the pitch, arm in arm, for what looks to be the final time.

The Scotland bench was up on its feet, applauding and Belisle pointed to Konkel, who then got a massive hug from former captain Donna Kennedy.

She's been a legendary player for Scotland during some dark times.

Jade Konkel is in floods of tears after being replaced. Scotland's first contracted professional women's player has had some career and that career will end if the score stays the same.

Amy Cokayne got denied in the first half but got it in the second. She knows exactly where the line is.

It does, but Alex Matthews is unable to pick the ball up and score.

Into the corner England go. Mackenzie Carson is on for Kelsey Clifford, who is getting a HIA (head injury assessment).

England win a scrum penalty. They go for another scrum. I think this may end in another penalty....

Abby Dow charges down a kick and is off towards the Scotland line. Great cover tackle ends that chance. Dow is on fire.

The rain is fairly coming down now. It looks like a power shower from up here in the press box.

The game is, realistically, gone for Scotland now. But they'll want to avoid a complete pasting and rubbish weather might limit the English attack.

Scotland finally secure a line-out. Emma Orr then makes a good carry. This is better.

Whenever the hosts get down in Scotland's 22m, a drummer below us starts a slow beat, ratcheting it up with every phase of play, until England penetrate and cross the line.

It doesn't half build the pressure.
