'We're still hearing the same apologies from the WRU'
Former Wales wing Jess Kavanagh says the Welsh Rugby Union’s (WRU) much-criticised handling of contract negotiations with the senior women's team contracts "shouldn’t happen in 2024".
The WRU has refuted allegations of sexism, but has said it is "absolutely clear" that the governing body must "apologise and engage with" its national team players.
Meanwhile, Lynn Glaister, chair of the Cardiff supporters body CF10 Rugby Trust, told Radio Wales’ Sunday Supplement she found the situation "extremely disappointing".
