    Trump 11-15 Williams

Judd Trump is not playing badly, setting up a couple of very difficult snookers.

But Mark Williams is playing like a dream, and gets out of them with ease.

Trump then accidentally pots the final red, and concedes the frame.

Judd Trump is back at the table, but he trails by 62 with only 51 remaining.

I think he just wants some potting practice. He has hardly had a sniff so far.

Absolutely majestic from Mark Williams. Judd Trump plays his own safety fairly well, but Williams is able to deftly flick in a red with the lightest of touches.

Only the best players can make those shots. Only the all-time greats make those look easy.

Two frames in this session, two 50-plus breaks from Williams.

He only needs one more red for this frame - but the five remaining are still in the pack, and Mark misses his cannon following a blue.

Williams has to play a safety shot, and the break ends at 65.

This is the same Mark Williams who said opponents would be "praying" to draw him in the first round of this World Championship.

We were talking about how this game could go deep into the evening - but if Mark Williams keeps this up, he could be through before the mid-session interval.

After a strong start to the break, Williams faces a tricky shot with the cue ball stuck among a pack of reds. But in this form it's no bother for the 50-year-old - not only sinking the pot despite his splayed fingers, but screwing the white back perfectly for an easy black pot.

Mark is a brilliant pressure potter. This is the part of the game where most people don't do so well.

He didn't win in one visit, but he's still such a strong competitor. To think that he still plays well under pressure, at the age of 50 and at the top of the game, is astonishing.

Much more like it from Judd Trump as he sinks a fabulous long pot - the cue ball was behind the baulk line and it was a tight angle to cut the red in.

Even better is the follow up shot, finely slicing in the brown before sending the cue ball off the cushion and down the table.

ARGH! After all that hard work, Trump muffs a simple red. He moved his head as he took that, perhaps already thinking about the next shot. He will be kicking himself.

A reminder that Judd Trump led 7-3 at one stage - Mark Williams has won 11 of the past 15 frames.

The Welshman has all the momentum as he breaks off in frame 26.

Judd Trump concedes, and Mark Williams' opening break of 67 is enough to seal the frame.

The Welshman is three frames from the final.

Judd Trump tries to open up the last reds left in the pack, but is scuppered by the presence of the pink.

The cue ball skews off to an awkward spot and he has to use the spider to try to keep the break going, and is unable to pot the red.

It leaves Mark Williams with a long red pot to effectively win this frame - and he takes it.

Williams misses the following black, but Trump returns to the table needing snookers to avoid going three down.

Certainly not an easy chance but Judd will be so happy to get back to the table.

If Mark clinches this frame, Judd will be three behind and he's going to have to play snooker from the gods to get back into it, because Mark is not going to make it easy for him, that's for sure.

Frame ball for Mark Williams, a regulation red into the bottom left - but he doesn't catch it right and the ball bounces off the jaws of the pocket and out.

Trump comes to the table trailing by 67, with 75 points available.

It's been a tough slog for both of them. Whoever wins this match might be running a little bit on empty, but the adrenaline will get them through the final and it will be Zhao Xintong's stiffest test, whoever gets through.

Judd's got to up his game tonight. He didn't do a lot wrong this morning but he's got to up his game if he's going to get into this.

He needs a quick start tonight because if Mark gets in front, he's such a difficult player to chase.
