It could be a very profitable morning for Judd Trump, who is two century breaks away from winning £100,000.

That is the prize for any player that makes 100 centuries in a season, with Trump on 98, while no-one else is in contention as Mark Selby (73) and Kyren Wilson (62) are both out of the competition.

Only two players have made 100 100s in one campaign - Neil Robertson in 2013-14 with 103 and Trump himself with 102 in 2019-20.

Here is the top 10 of most century breaks in one season

    1. Neil Robertson (2013-14) 103
    2. Judd Trump (2019-20) 102
    3. Judd Trump (2024-25) 98
    4. Judd Trump (2020-21) 90
    5. Neil Robertson (2018-19) 84
    6. Judd Trump (2018-19) 83
    7. Judd Trump (2014-15) 82
    8. Judd Trump (2023-24) 79
    9. Ronnie O'Sullivan (2017-18) 74
    10. Kyren Wilson (2020-21) 74

On table two, Shaun Murphy has taken the opening frame against Judd Trump, thanks to a run of 75.

  4. Early maximum attempt halted at 72published at 10:19 British Summer Time 27 April

    Lei 6-11 Zhao

In the very first frame of the day we've had an assault on a maximum. Zhao Xintong rattles in nine reds and nine blacks and gets to 72, but falters.

Heartbreak for the fan that was on course to win £25,000 put up by sponsors Midnite Sponsors and Casino.

One fan in each session is chosen at random and if there is a 147, on either side of the table, they collect £25,000 - something 75-year-old Brian Nicholls from Tamworth won when Mark Allen made his 147 in his loss to Chris Wakelin

Zhao's break took him 11-6 ahead, two away from a place in the last eight.

Is it good for my health and wellbeing?

Cue sports provide a fun and sociable way to stay active, improve your concentration and increase your strength and muscle control.

Can I take it to another level?

Once you've mastered the skills, you could enter local league matches and amateur level competitions across the country.

    Is there a disability option?

Cue sports are very inclusive as the rules and equipment are the same for able-bodied and disabled players.
