A puff of the cheeks from Barbora Krejcikova as she heads back to the locker room.

    The Czech looks stunned.

  2. 'Krejcikova unrecognisable'published at 15:22 British Summer Time 13 July

Krejcikova is unrecognisable from the player who started this match. At the start she looked purposeful in every single point she was playing, she looked tactical. But it's all kind of evaporated.

    Krejcikova 6-2 2-6 Paolini

The slow hand clap builds and that means we have got a Hawk-Eye check, and it is out - just.

That gives Paolini two set points, and she only needs one.

A huge, huge roar from the Wimbledon crowd. And we go to a third and deciding set.

    It's a one-set shootout for the trophy.

I don’t think Krejcikova wants these long rallies from the baseline against Paolini. She wants to come in and use her variety and serve and volley, using her slice to come in.

What a turnaround here. Krejcikova arguably playing the best set of grass-court tennis she's ever played but Paolini has come roaring back.

There's someone near court side in a hat in the colours of the Italian flag and they, along with all the Paolini fans, are liking the action at the moment as their player has moved one game away from taking the second set.

Krejcikova was clearly the better player in the first set, but Paolini has responded superbly to take charge of this set.

    Krejcikova 6-2 2-4 Paolini*

Paolini, we’ve seen her do it throughout the tournament, she stays positive despite losing the first set. She’s fist pumping and the body language is something that’s so important, especially on an occasion like this when the nerves can take over.

Some excellent serving helps Krejcikova earn her second game of the second set, followed by a roar to help fire herself up. She's still a break down, but a set up.

Krejcikova was almost in that flow state in the first set. I don't even think she had to think about it because it was all coming off so beautifully.

Krejcikova's first serve is really keeping her in this set.

A shriek of delight from Jasmine Paolini.

The fist pumps are back, the mini pep talks in between points are back.

This is the Paolini the Wimbledon crowd have warmed to so much over the last fortnight.

Paolini's obvious gamesmanship by leaving the court after the first set and disrupting Krejcikova's momentum seems to be paying off for her.

A tap over the net at close range with Krejcikova at the back of the court, followed by a slapped away forehand gives Paolini another hold, two more of those and it is into a decider.

That was a good recovery from the 31st seed after she had put herself in trouble with back-to-back double faults, but Paolini went long on one break-point chance with another going into the net. Krejcikova up and running in set two but plenty of catching up to do.

    *Krejcikova 6-2 0-3 Paolini

    Annabel Croft

Krejcikova's gone to pieces a bit, actually. I think she's stewing and steaming right now. I'm sure the crowd have got a bit on top of her too and that's difficult to deal with.

A couple of double faults from Barbora Krejcikova give Paolini a 0-30 headstart in the fourth game of set two, with the Italian now holding two break points for a 4-0 lead.

Barbora Krejcikova's serve looked almost untouchable in the first set, but she's wavering now.

Coming in to today's final the Czech had made more double faults than any other player.

Two in a row won't help her here. Are the nerves starting to show?
