Paolini's matching Krejcikova's energy now, in fact right now she has more of it. Krejcikova has been silenced a little bit.
*Krejcikova 6-2 0-3 Paolini
Paolini faces a fight to hang on to her advantage though. She fends off one break point as Krejcikova nets after Paolini had earlier ended up on the turf when trying to leap and keep a point alive.
But, even sitting on the Centre Court grass, she can laugh and smile about the situation. She probably wouldn't have expected to be sitting on the ground in Centre on finals day a couple of weeks ago.
She then has more to smile about as she holds.

Feels like nerves have got to Paolini at last. Hoping Jasmine can turn this around and win. Credit to Krejcikova, but really poor first set from Paolini.

There has definitely been a shift in intent from Paolini in this set. She's trying to stay closer to that baseline and be more aggressive.

You can't rule Jasmine Paolini out just yet.
The Italian lost the opening set of her semi-final 6-2, but she managed to fight back to beat Donna Vekic.
Can she do the same again today?
*Krejcikova 6-2 0-2 Paolini
Jasmine Paolini does get the break and now has already picked up more games than she won in the French Open.
This has been a great reset since losing set one and it is game on.
*Krejcikova 6-2 0-1 Paolini
A sliced backhand hits the nets from Krejcikova and that's two break points for Paolini.

I cant stop watching Paolini's footwork and her feet, it's like she's got two little rockets under her feet. She’s bouncing around and I think that’s what the crowd love about her, she’s just so energised.

There it is. That's the spark Jasmine Paolini has been missing.
She directs a clenched fist and a huge roar towards her team.
*Krejcikova 6-2 0-1 Paolini
Ashleigh Barty
Three-time Grand Slam champion on BBC TV
I think we can see from Paolini's reaction that she knew how important it was that she won that first game.
*Krejcikova 6-2 0-1 Paolini
Paolini starts off the set with a hold and spins around and produces a fist pump in the direction of her team.
Against Iga Swiatek in the French Open final in May, the Italian only won three games in a chastening defeat. She will be wanting to give a better account of herself at the very least today.

The crowd want to see a match and they'll get strongly behind Paolini.
Joe Rindl

Mission Impossible for Jasmine Paolini? Maybe she could get some advice from this man on Centre Court.

Ashleigh Barty

It's a funny rule because it's completely in the rules to get off court and take a bathroom break but it's a moment Paolini can use to maybe splash some water in her face and work her way back in.
Krejcikova 6-2 Paolini
Apart from aces, Barbora Krejcikova is pretty much leading every category of stats going.

Naomi Broady

Just incredible accuracy, really hitting her spot and really mixing up on the serves too. Krejcikova is not giving Paolini any inclination or idea where she's going to go.
Other than the first game, which was the nerves of Paolini, it's been about the level of Krejcikova.
Krejcikova 6-2 Paolini
A hold to love for Barbora Krejcikova as Jasmine Paolini can only pat a backhand return back into the net. That set took only 35 minutes.
But if Paolini wants something to cling to, this is the exact score that she lost the first set of the semi-final to Donna Vekic.
On that occasion she went on to win an epic in a 10-point tie-break in a match that lasted two hours 51 minutes.
This one's not over, but the Czech player is dominating at the moment.
Krejcikova wins 'sublime' first set
*Krejcikova 5-2 Paolini
'That's what we want to see!' - Krejcikova great point against Paolini
*Krejcikova 5-2 Paolini
Jasmine Paolini does get only her second game of the match under her belt, but now she has to break the Krejcikova serve to keep the set going.
Once more a huge round of applause from the crowd desperate for Paolini to make this a real contest.
